Creighton Shafer

Mr. Shafer began his career as an associate with the premier litigation firm, Fisher Rushmer, in Orlando. Following his family’s move to the Tampa Bay area in 2001, he associated with Chambers Law Group, where he litigated personal injury lawsuits with great success.  Since that time, Mr. Shafer has obtained multiple trial verdicts in excess of $1Million for his injured clients, but his most satisfying win was obtaining justice for a young immigrant, abandoned abused and neglected by his parents, who told he could not pursue Special Immigrant Juvenile Status here in Florida. In re Y.V., 160 So. 3d 576, 579 (Fla. 1st DCA 2015)

Mr. Shafer won the appeal which established that under Florida law, neither the geographical setting nor the motivation of the minor immigrant child could be used to deny that child access to Florida’s Courts. The Florida Supreme Court confirmed the holding in 2017.

Mr. Shafer is married, has three children and is an active member of St Pauls Church. Mr. Shafer speaks French and conversational Spanish.
